From September 27 to 29, the largest tech conference in Eastern Europe, IT Arena, was held in Lviv, organized annually by the Lviv IT Cluster. During the event, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced the launch of the uResidency program on the Diia public services portal. The uResidency online service will allow citizens of other countries to register and conduct business in Ukraine from anywhere in the world. Kitsoft developed the entire suite of online services for acquiring and canceling e-residency status, including:
-
State registration of sole proprietorship and termination of entrepreneurial activity;
-
Opening and closing current accounts;
-
Use of a qualified electronic signature;
-
Registration for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs queue for identity verification;
-
Informing the State Tax Service about e-residency status;
-
Assignment of a taxpayer identification number;
-
Obtaining a criminal record certificate;
-
Interaction with the Security Service of Ukraine for applicant verification.
Our specialists established interaction and data exchange with IT systems of all involved government agencies via API and through the «e-Resident» mobile application. More details on how the service works are available in the article linked.
This year, IT Arena brought together leading experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs worldwide for discussions and business networking for the 11th time.
