The Acceleration Program "Act to Support" primarily focuses on collaborating with innovative digital solutions designed to assist internally displaced persons (IDPs) and communities, while also addressing the challenges stemming from the full-scale invasion of the russian federation into Ukraine. Out of a pool of over 130 applicants, the program has carefully selected the top 20 public organizations to engage in the development of prototypes, business plans, and the testing of products and services, all with a user-centric approach.
Notably, Oleksandr Iefremov, the CEO of Kitsoft, has joined in providing guidance and support to the chosen teams. In his words, "Creating projects with social impact is not only an immense source of inspiration for the team but also a profound responsibility."
Oleksandr has elucidated the evolution of the public services market prior to the establishment of the Ministry of Digital, and the transformative impact of the Prozorro public procurement platform. Furthermore, he has shared the ongoing areas of digitalization and imparted Kitsoft's experience within the GovTech and CivicTech sectors.
Following their training in the accelerator, the top 10 teams will be eligible to receive funding of up to $20,000 to execute their respective projects.
It's crucial to note that this program is being executed by the Eastern Europe Fund as part of the "Phoenix" project, with financial backing from the European Union. The educational and mentoring components of the program are expertly conducted by the Innovation Agency Center42.
