Kitsoft participated in OXYGEN Summit New York 2024 and Smart City Expo

Kitsoft took part in Smart City Expo USA 2024 and OXYGEN Summit New York, an exhibition and conference in New York dedicated to creating smart and sustainable cities. Together with representatives from 16 countries, we joined the discussion of the global Twin Cities initiative, which was officially launched on May 22.

The Twin Cities Initiative aims to leverage the experience, knowledge, and resources of participants from around the world to build smart cities and ensure their sustainable development in the face of the global economic and security crisis caused by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Smart cities are created to promote sustainable, inclusive, and equitable living conditions for all residents and are based on the same principles: improving well-being, technology development, digitalization, sustainable development, and nature conservation.

Cooperation and exchange of experience and technologies will accelerate the development of sustainable cities of the future. Ukrainian settlements that were destroyed during the war provide an opportunity to implement these solutions in a real environment, so the issue of building modern smart cities in post-war Ukraine and developing a strategy for their development is becoming a priority for Twin Cities.

The initiative will be implemented at the next OXYGEN Summit 2024, with 21 global and 4 Ukrainian cities joining the project. It is noted that this is the first time that so many participants from around the world have collaborated on smart cities and urban regeneration within the framework of one project.

The OXYGEN Summit New York 2024 and Smart City Expo brought together industry leaders and technology developers for smart cities. The event aimed to emphasize the benefits that innovative digital solutions provide to modern cities. More than 100 speakers and companies shared their best practices in the field of next-generation urban infrastructure and sustainable development.

Oleksandr Iefremov, CEO of Kitsoft, joined the discussion of the initiative and shared the capabilities of Liquio, a low-code platform for urban online services. This platform allows every city to easily create online services, be innovative, convenient and friendly to citizens.

Participation in events gave us a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and technologies with leading experts from around the world. The Twin Cities initiative we support will contribute to building modern and sustainable cities, especially in Ukraine, which needs effective solutions to recover from the war. We are confident that our low-code platform Liquio will become an important tool for city administrations to create innovative online services that improve the quality of life for residents. We thank the organizers and all participants for fruitful cooperation and interesting discussions.
