City Accelerator is a program of cooperation between startups and Kyiv municipal enterprises to find modern technological solutions for urban infrastructure.
The program is being implemented by ISE Corporate Accelerator at the request of the Kyiv City State Administration and with the support of the Kyiv Academic University and the Academ.City project.
The City Accelerator is one of the measures of the City Target Program for Promoting the Development of Industry, Entrepreneurship and the Consumer Market for 2024-2025. The program involves 42 municipal enterprises of Kyiv.
As part of the City Accelerator Demo Day, 16 startups presented their projects. They focused on topics such as energy efficiency and energy conservation, housing and communal services, environmental initiatives, transportation and mobility, digital services, and smart urban infrastructure management.
The Kyiv City State Administration notes that startups have a huge potential for cooperation with utilities, in particular with those that provide critical infrastructure for the city. The implementation of joint projects will improve the quality of city management and make the lives of Kyiv residents more convenient and comfortable.
Kyiv ranks 5th in the StartupBlink ranking for the development of the innovation ecosystem in Eastern Europe. This confirms the status of the capital as a center of innovation and startups, where we are actively implementing digital technologies to improve the lives of residents.
— Valentyn Mondryivskyy, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Kitsoft actively supports the development of technologies that can become part of large-scale digital transformations. The City Accelerator is a great opportunity to find new ideas and help young innovators put their ideas into practice.
Participation in such events is part of our strategy to support the startup community and promote the introduction of innovations in urban infrastructure. We understand the importance of partnership and are convinced that the synergy between startups, utilities, and technology companies will create unique opportunities for city development and improve the quality of life for Kyiv residents.
