MAP Assembly is a key event of the Lviv IT Cluster for business owners and C-level managers. The cluster congratulated Kitsoft and other companies on joining the association and presented new projects and initiatives planned to be implemented soon. Lviv IT Cluster presented the M&A Office, a new initiative aimed at expanding the capabilities of the Ukrainian technology sector through strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The cluster's specialists will provide members with educational and advisory support in the field of M&A, and facilitate direct connections with investors and strategic partners.
According to the Lviv IT Cluster, by the beginning of 2024, more than 1 million people have been mobilized in Ukraine, and about 150 thousand employees of IT companies are subject to conscription. To facilitate the reintegration of veterans and create a society where veterans feel safe and comfortable, the cluster launched the Mission: Back In Tech project. It aims to help tech companies return professionals who have completed military service to their work processes.
As part of the IT Research: Salary Report presented a study of salary trends in the IT market. Thus, in the first four months of 2024, the volume of computer services exports fell by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2023. A decline in revenues was reported by 45% of companies. Nevertheless, the IT market is expected to gradually recover by the end of 2024, with a noticeable acceleration in 2025. According to Gartner's forecasts, global technology spending will increase by 8% this year.
Also, the Legal Consulting project experts analyzed the first month of the updated legislation on mobilization and military registration and shared the latest changes in the reservation mechanism.
