Environmental Impact policy
"Computer Information Technologies", LLC (brand name "Kitsoft"), as a leading Ukrainian company in the IT sector, recognizes its responsibility for the preservation and protection of the environment.
We understand that our activities, from software development to the administration of information systems, can have both direct and indirect impacts on the ecology. Acknowledging this, we strive to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of our work.
Our mission is to not only provide innovative and efficient solutions in our field of activity, but also to ensure that they are environmentally friendly and safe for the environment.
In the context of the above, this Policy declares that Kitsoft:
- Strictly adheres to the norms of international and Ukrainian law in the field of environmental protection;
- Supports open and constructive dialogue with all regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of transparency and accountability in our environmental activities;
- Considers environmental protection issues when making business decisions;
- Employs the latest and most effective practices in its activities, thereby reducing the amount of resources consumed by computer technology;
- Continuously progresses towards reducing waste, particularly in reducing paper use in the company's document management;
- Fosters the development of environmental awareness among our employees;
- Facilitates remote work, which reduces emissions associated with logistics;
- Utilizes objective indicators in planning and measuring the results of our activities in reducing environmental impact.
Furthermore, this Policy commits us to:
- Implement, develop, and maintain an Environmental Management System (in accordance with ISO 14001 and the EMAS Regulation);
- Account for and reduce our carbon footprint;
- Always prefer energy-efficient technologies and equipment;
- Rationally optimize the consumption of resources and utilities including electricity, water, and fuel.
